Job Title:       SQL Database and Business Intelligence Developer II Department: Information Technology Reports To:   Senior SQL Database and Business Intelligence Developer FLSA:            Exempt Status:            Full-Time Grade:            12   POSITION DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE The SQL Database and Business Intelligence Developer II is responsible for the development, testing, implementation and support of Microsoft SQL-based relational databases. The databases are used to collect and analyze data gathered through the Authority’s custom web applications that are both internal and client-facing. This position is also responsible for developing and supporting data sets and visualizations utilizing various business intelligence and reporting platforms.  This position will ensure the database is well maintained, scalable and available to all users. This position will also administer the database systems through security, backup and recovery, tuning, automation and disaster recovery planning and testing for MSBA database environments. Working with the IT team, the SQL Database and Business Intelligence Developer II will participate in the full development life cycle to meet the objectives of the MSBA.
