Insure that correct prices,quality for components are available for pre-production and first lot of mass production. Setup ERP system with correct purchasing data. Coordinate with Program management to solve customer related issues. Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions for the supply base Identify and qualify new sources. Responsible for setup material/tooling for new prototype projects General context Strategic purchasing or equivalent working experience. Minimum 2 years working experience in sourcing especially for Electronic, Mechanical, PCB and Plastic in electronics industry, preferably contract manufacturing. Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills. Possess strong ability to locate, quality, and develop sources of supply. Must be able to work with suppliers to continually improve quality, cost, delivery while reducing lead-time. Highly detail oriented and organized, having a sense of urgency and good follow-through. Good working knowledge of materials and sources of supply which ensure prices are consistent with quality requirements. MRP system skills and knowledge required. Excellent administrative and communication skills. Good command in English.
