Role Overview We're looking for an execution-focused Flutter Developer to join the Mobile Pod. You'll work directly under our Technical Lead, building feature screens and expanding app functionality for Homey's iOS and Android platforms. This is a structured environment for a junior developer. Core architecture, routing, component libraries, and API contracts are already in place and production-tested. You step in to build features not to design the foundation. Key Responsibilities • Feature Implementation: Build UI screens and user flows for the Homey mobile app: agent transaction views, property referral creation (sub-2-minute flow), milestone push notifications, and onboarding journeys. • State Management: Implement feature-level state using Riverpod 2.x (AsyncNotifier / StateNotifier patterns), keeping providers scoped, testable, and aligned with the shared architecture. • API Integration: Consume versioned REST endpoints via Dio, handle serialization with json_serializable / Freezed, and manage async loading and error states cleanly. • Navigation: Implement screen routing using go_router, following the project’s established route hierarchy and deep-link contracts. • Performance: Keep view models lean, apply proper caching strategies, and ensure smooth 60fps rendering on mid-range Android and iOS devices. • Release Support: Assist the Technical Lead with build configuration, signing, and submission to Apple App Store and Google Play via Codemagic CI/CD Requirements Technical Requirements • Flutter & Dart: Solid working knowledge of Flutter 3.x and Dart 3 (null safety, records, patterns). • State Management: Hands-on experience with Riverpod 2.x; familiarity with AsyncNotifier and code generation (riverpod_generator) preferred. • API & Serialization: Comfortable with Dio, json_serializable, and Freezed for immutable data models. • Navigation: Working knowledge of go_router including nested routes and redirect guards. • Architecture: Exposure to feature-first clean architecture: separation of data, domain, and presentation layers. • Local Storage & Security: Basic understanding of flutter_secure_storage for token storage and Hive/Isar for local caching. • Testing: Ability to write unit and widget tests with flutter_test and mocktail. • Code Quality: Comfortable working within strict lint rules (very_good_analysis or equivalent). • Native Capabilities: Basic understanding of biometrics (local_auth), push notifications (FCM / APNs), and platform channels Benefits Competitive Salary: Commensurate with experience.
