Growth Engineering is focused on helping customers realize value from Fleetio as quickly as possible by building thoughtful onboarding experiences, improving product adoption, and experimenting with features that drive long-term engagement. In this role, you'll build features across the product that make it easier for users to discover value, adopt new workflows, and successfully manage their fleets. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Operations, and fellow engineers to turn insights into product improvements and measurable customer outcomes. This is an opportunity to work on a team that values experimentation, collaboration, and continuous learning while delivering high-quality software that directly impacts customer growth and retention. This role is part of the Engineering department and reports to the Engineering Manager. Your Impact Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Operations, and other Engineers to deliver high-quality product experiences. Design and implement features that improve user onboarding, product adoption, and long-term engagement. Help build experiments that validate product ideas and measure customer impact. Contribute to technical discussions and collaborate on solutions that balance customer value with technical excellence. Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code. Prototype solutions and iterate quickly based on customer feedback and product insights. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with teammates, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture. Your Experience 3+ years of professional software engineering experience. 1+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails. Experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript. Experience building full-stack web applications and customer-facing features. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and relational databases such as PostgreSQL. Familiarity with writing efficient database queries and working with application data. Experience with unit tes
