Position Summary
Deepwatch is hiring Software Engineers to contribute to the development of our next-generation cybersecurity platform. This role focuses on building intelligent, scalable, and real-time systems, with a strong emphasis on data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities.
You will work closely with senior engineers and leadership to design and build systems powering threat detection, automation, and advanced analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Build and enhance intelligent, data-driven features for threat detection and security analytics
Develop scalable backend services and microservices for high-volume systems
Work on real-time data streaming systems (Kafka) for ingestion and processing
Contribute to distributed systems design , scalability, and performance optimization
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Security, and Data teams
Support development of automation workflows and advanced detection systems
Leverage modern engineering tools and automation practices to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency
Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and engineering best practices
Qualifications
Required:
2–3 years of software engineering experience
Strong programming skills in Java, with working knowledge of Python preferred.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
Strong experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling
Experience working with Kafka or similar streaming technologies
Experience building backend systems, APIs, and microservices
Exposure to AI-assisted development
