Description
The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. This team is seeking a Software Engineer responsible for developing ground and flight software for missions to the Moon and beyond. Advanced Space exists to enable the sustainable exploration, development, and settlement of space through software and services that leverage unique subject matter expertise.

This position is open to U.S. Persons only (U.S. citizens, or lawful permanent residents), as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Able to write and debug basic C++ and Python code.
Learning to write code that is modular and testable.
Limited familiarity with industry tools and best practices.
Familiar with concepts of unit and regression testing.
Understands the importance of communicating when estimates are at risk.
Strong willingness to learn industry-specific tools, libraries, and operating systems.
Able to run unit and regression tests on new or modified code.

Education & Experience:
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent professional work experience required.
Eligibility requirements:
Ability to work in the Westminster, CO office 3-5 days/week

Highly desired to be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance
