JOB PURPOSE
As a Social Data Analyst, you'll help shape the future of social by turning data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with strategists, creatives and community managers to uncover opportunities, measure impact and continuously optimise our work.
You'll become the go-to expert for social performance, helping both our teams and our clients understand what drives results and, more importantly, why.
Whether it's analysing campaign performance, building dashboards, conducting competitive audits or uncovering emerging trends, your insights will directly influence creative and strategic decisions.
As our Social Data Analyst, you'll help us:

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Analyse paid and organic social performance across multiple clients and platforms;
Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations;
Build and maintain reporting dashboards and performance frameworks;
Conduct social audits and competitive analyses to support new business pitches;
Identify audience, platform and content trends that can strengthen client strategies;
Partner with strategists and creatives to optimise content based on performance insights;
Define and monitor the KPIs that truly matter for each client;
Support quarterly business reviews and client presentations with data-driven storytelling;
Continuously improve how we measure social success across DEPT®.
WHAT YOU BRING
2–5 years of experience in social analytics, digital analytics or performance marketing;
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their metrics (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.);
Experience with reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau;
Comfortable working with platform analytics and social listening tools like Brandwatch & Emplifi;
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into compelling stories;
Experience conducting competitor analysis and identifying market opportunities;
Excellent communication skills, you can explain data to both specialists and non-specialists;
Curious, proactive and always looking for ways to improve;
Located and directly available to start working from our offices in the Netherlands;
Full working proficiency in Dutch and English.
WE OFFER
A flexible, hybrid working policy (2-3 days from the office, depending on location) and the opportunity to work from abroad for 13 weeks a year.
