Veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply.     Job Description:   Tria Federal is seeking a Senior Front-End UI/UX Developer to support human-centered digital experience delivery within a large-scale federal healthcare environment.   This role will lead the implementation of modern, accessible, and scalable front-end experiences across complex, high-visibility systems used by healthcare providers, administrators, and federal stakeholders. You will work across multidisciplinary Agile teams to translate design intent into high-quality, production-ready interfaces aligned with real-world workflows in highly regulated environments.   As part of a mission-focused delivery organization and a member of Tria’s Human Experience (HX) Practice, you will partner closely with designers, researchers, and engineers to elevate front-end quality and strengthen the integration of design and engineering. You will also contribute to advancing how we leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to improve user experience delivery.   This is an opportunity to build meaningful public-sector systems where your work directly improves usability, reduces administrative burden, and enhances service delivery at national scale.   Must be a U.S. Citizen due to federal security clearance requirements. Must be able to be in person 1 day per week.   Key Responsibilities   Translate Figma (or similar design tools) prototypes and design systems into high-quality, production-ready code   Collaborate deeply with UX designers to ensure design intent, interaction patterns, and visual systems are effectively realized in code   Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern front-end technologies   Contribute to and help evolve design systems and reusable component libraries   Advocate for front-end quality, usability, and accessibility across the development lifecycle   Identify gaps or opportunities in the user experience and propose thoughtful improvements   Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistency across devices   Participate in code reviews and help establish front-end best practices   Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency and quality     Required Qualifications   7+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on UI implementation   Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling approaches including Sass/SCSS   Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript (with demonstrated real-world usage)   Experience developing applications using Angular   Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS)   Strong understanding of responsive design and modern web standards   Experience working from Figma (or similar tools) to production code   Solid understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and human-centered design practices
