Position Summary
Location: This is either a hybrid position based in our Denver, CO office or a fully remote position within the Continental United States. If fully remote, In-person visits to the Denver headquarters are required, on average three times per year.
Compensation: The salary range for this position is between $145,000.00 - $160,000.00, depending on experience level.
Primary Responsibilities
Deep understanding of complex systems. Can optimize for specific needs , including performance, resilience, observability, testability, and more
Develops complex, high-quality features. Mentors teammates to improve software development practices.
Designs complex, large-scale systems. Considers scalability and fault tolerance.
Can write, debug, and maintain all types of automated tests. Advocates for testing strategy.
Implements and optimizes CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
Integrates and optimizes AI tools into the development process, establishing best practices and mentoring others on effective AI usage
Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentors and guides team members, facilitates discussions, exemplifies empathy, openness and adaptability.
Bridges gaps between teams, drives cross-team initiatives, and resolves complex dependencies.
Leads interview sessions, creates documentation to help new hires ramp up.
Actively mentors and guides Engineering teammates.
Influences the team's technical direction.
