About the Role: As a Senior Security Software Engineer at Crusoe, you will design, build, and deploy scalable services, platforms, and tools that provide the foundational technical capabilities for product security controls, PKI, and Secrets Management. The core charter of this role is to implement automation that eliminates manual steps involved in understanding, remediating, and preventing security risks across the enterprise. This work sits at the intersection of production engineering systems and complex security automation, translating technical security requirements into highly scalable, reliable, production-grade infrastructure. You will take end-to-end ownership of your technical systems, spanning detailed software design, development, thorough testing, and robust deployment via automated integration pipelines (CI/CD), ensuring our security systems are highly available and operate effectively at scale. What You'll Be Working On: - Build & Deploy: Implement and maintain scalable, robust distributed software components and security controls that scale within Crusoe's CI/CD pipelines. - Platform Security: Engineering and maintaining robust PKI and Secrets Management solutions to secure infrastructure, identities, and sensitive configurations at scale. - Data & Control Pipelines: Develop control integrations and data pipelines to collect, normalize, and manage security telemetry and risk posture across identity systems (IAM), log streams, and vulnerability scanners. - Metrics & Dashboards: Build metrics engines, real-time dashboards, and automated insights pipelines that provide continuous visibility into technical risk posture and emerging infrastructure risks. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with platform engineering and security domain experts to understand technical requirements and deliver durable, operational solutions under full engineering ownership. - Engineering Excellence: Champion high-quality code standards within the team through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, comprehensive technical documentation, and proactive operational monitoring. - On This Team, You Will - Tackle complex security and compliance puzzles at cutting-edge scale within cloud and distributed infrastructure. - Collaborate with a brilliant, multidisciplinary team of engineers who are redefining security assurance for modern infrastructure. - Have the freedom, autonomy, and responsibility to innovate, experiment, and contribute to how Crusoe establishes its core security assurance pipelines.
