David Kennedy Recruitment is working with an innovative global Customer Experience company currently looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer (Architecture) to join their growing international team.   Position: Senior Software Engineer (Architecture) Location: Limassol, Cyprus  Employment type: Full-time   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and systems using Laravel (PHP) and Vue.js Contribute to architectural decisions and help drive scalable, maintainable, and high-performance technical solutions Work with distributed systems, queue-based architectures, Kafka, and event-driven patterns Optimise platform performance, reliability, scalability, and overall system stability Collaborate closely with Head of Development, DevOps Engineers, and Senior Developers on technical initiatives and infrastructure improvements Support engineering best practices, clean code principles, and continuous technical improvement Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and provide technical mentorship to developers Work with containerised and cloud-native environments using Docker and Kubernetes Participate actively in day-to-day hands-on development while supporting long-term technical direction Contribute to improving development processes, scalability, and engineering standards across the platform.
