THE OPPORTUNITY
Can you imagine diving into the development of the software and components that run our innovative mobile indoor mapping system, operated by companies in more than 25 countries worldwide?
You will join the Mapping and Perception Team, whose mission is to create software solutions for mapping entire buildings and creating realistic 3D representations such as maps, point clouds and panoramic images, based on cutting-edge technology in the area of robotics.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications focused on computer vision, 3D perception, and 3D data processing.
Apply clean code techniques & design patterns and mentor your teammates through in-depth code reviews
You will mainly work on our pipeline – from raw sensor data to the generation of point clouds, panoramic images and maps.
Move our applications into cloud infrastructure by closely collaborating with our cloud team
Analyzing and improving our applications with respect to efficiency, scalability, and stability
Full life cycle of application development from design to deployment including infrastructure and continuous integration/delivery
Continuous improvement of automated tests and automated delivery of software.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN THE ROLE
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Robotics, Computer Vision, or a related field.
5–10 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
Strong software development background with expert-level C++ skills and solid Python proficiency.
Experience working with 3D perception systems, including computer vision, 3D point cloud processing, filtering, and/or robotics applications.
Strong understanding of 3D data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
Experience deploying and maintaining software across multiple platforms, operating systems, and cloud-based environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers.
Passion for software design and development, with an interest in agile software engineering practices.
Fluent in English.
Would be an added benefit :
Experience with robotics frameworks such as ROS.
Experience working with containerization and virtualization technologies (e.g., Docker, virtual machines).
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
Experience with C++ libraries such as Boost, Eigen, OpenCV, PCL, or similar.
Experience building, maintaining, and deploying large-scale software systems.
