Description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Cloud Platform team, which empowers DataSnipper’s growth through a secure and scalable enterprise cloud platform. 🚀 As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you won’t just maintain systems you’ll architect robust solutions that push the boundaries of cloud infrastructure, automation, and user management. This is your chance to own critical components at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform reliability - working hand-in-hand with talented cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery, automate complex pipelines, and implement cutting-edge monitoring and scaling strategies.   Why DataSnipper? Audit and finance are still massively manual — and we’re changing that. DataSnipper is a $1B, bootstrapped unicorn with 600,000+ users across 180+ countries, already embedded in the daily workflows of top audit and accounting firms. Now, we’re taking things further with our Excel Agent — bringing AI directly into where the work actually happens.   Unlike generic AI tools, we don’t sit on the sidelines. Our AI operates inside Excel, with access to real documents and audit evidence — meaning it doesn’t just generate answers, it does the work, with full traceability. We’re not just applying AI — we’re redefining how audit gets done. If you want to build something category-defining at scale, this is the place.   What You’ll Own: - Lead the design and implementation of highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure, supporting our web platform, ML platform, and customer-facing products. - Build and evolve DataSnipper’s internal developer platform, enabling engineers to spin up services, provision infrastructure, and deploy environments without direct SRE intervention. - Drive our Infrastructure V2 initiative by improving cloud architecture, reducing provisioning time, and turning manual infrastructure work into automated, reusable platform capabilities. - Design self-service workflows for service creation, staging environments, deployments, and infrastructure changes. - Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to help teams ship faster, safer, and with less operational friction. - Build and mature observability, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus, improving reliability, incident response, and operational insights. - Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, creating secure, scalable, and maintainable patterns for provisioning and managing cloud resources. - Partner closely with engineering teams during major releases, platform migrations, and scaling challenges, reducing bottlenecks and improving developer productivity. - Own and improve key platform metrics across infrastructure reliability, developer productivity, security controls, SOC2 compliance, and reduction of manual support requests. - Coach teams on reliability, availability, observability, and infrastructure automation best practices. - Participate in an on-call rotation   What You Bring: • 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles, with a solid track record of delivering complex, large-scale cloud solutions • Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms—Azure expertise preferred, but experience with GCP or AWS is valuable • Mastery of CI/CD tools and pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps or equivalents, driving automation and reliability • Practical knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, with a keen understanding of cloud-native architectures • Strong problem-solving skills to debug and troubleshoot intricate issues across cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and application environments • Proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor • Collaborat
