The Opportunity We are partnering with a leading global digital investor communications platform that provides Proxy Voting and Shareholder Disclosure services to financial institutions worldwide. Originally developed within a major financial institution, the platform is transforming capital markets through innovative, secure, and compliant technology solutions. We are looking for an experienced Senior Manual QA Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of a mission-critical financial platform. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced delivery environments, has exceptional attention to detail, and enjoys working closely with Product, Operations, and Engineering teams. You will take ownership of end-to-end manual testing activities across complex releases, validate business-critical workflows, identify defects early in the development lifecycle, and help drive continuous improvements to QA processes and release quality. Key Responsibilities Lead manual testing activities across new feature development, enhancements, and platform releases. Analyse business and functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing. Validate complex workflows, data processing, and business-critical financial transactions. Identify, document, reproduce, and track defects using JIRA and other defect management tools. Perform detailed regression testing ahead of major deployments and releases. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Provide clear and consistent reporting on testing progress, risks, and release readiness. Assist with release documentation, user manuals, and client-facing release notes. Support QA process improvements and contribute to establishing best practices across the team. Mentor junior QA team members and promote high testing standards. Requirements Strong experience testing enterprise or financial services platforms. Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices. Proven ability to create and execute detailed manual test cases independently. Strong experience with regression and end-to-end testing in complex systems. Experience using JIRA and test management tools. Strong SQL knowledge and experience validating data across databases. Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Experience working with SWIFT messaging standards. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile delivery environments with multiple concurrent releases.
