Description
What is BOX?  Box (NYSE:BOX) is the leader in Intelligent Content Management. Our platform enables organizations to fuel collaboration, manage the entire content lifecycle, secure critical content, and transform business workflows with enterprise AI. We help companies thrive in the new AI-first era of business. Founded in 2005, Box simplifies work for leading global organizations, including JLL, Morgan Stanley, and Nationwide. Box is headquartered in Redwood City, CA, with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. By joining Box, you will have the unique opportunity to continue driving our platform forward. Content powers how we work. It’s the billions of files and information flowing across teams, departments, and key business processes every single day: contracts, invoices, employee records, financials, product specs, marketing assets, and more. Our mission is to bring intelligence to the world of content management and empower our customers to completely transform workflows across their organizations. With the combination of AI and enterprise content, the opportunity has never been greater to transform how the world works together and at Box you will be on the front lines of this massive shift. Why Box needs you: Box is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Core Experiences team in Warsaw , which builds the applications that bring the power of Box’s content platform to users wherever they work - in the browser, on iOS, and on Android. Our apps enable users and enterprises to manage, share, and collaborate on content at scale, with experiences tailored to each platform's conventions and expectations. In this role you will work on the foundational tools and frameworks - from Continuous Integration to our Release Framework, App Store and Play Store delivery to web deployment pipelines, performance monitoring to functional test frameworks - to allow the whole team to be productive and deliver high-quality products to millions of users. We are looking for strong teammates who enjoy building solutions for other engineers. ⚠️ Note on Programming Skills: While many traditional DevOps roles focus purely on infrastructure configuration and system administration without writing code, this is a software-engineering-first role . We need a platform engineer who is proficient in modern programming languages and software design principles to build robust, in-house automation tools and frameworks. What you will do: You'll collaborate with engineering teams to build, maintain, and improve tooling and frameworks supporting mobile, desktop, and web product development, with a near-term focus on mobile. You’ll create and maintain in-house tools that automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency. You'll work with diverse systems - from CI pipelines and code-signing to release, deployment, crash metric ingestion, and automation frameworks-to solve key team productivity issues. You'll dig deep and investigate the pain-points in our development processes and systems. Then we'll fix them! You'll lead and participate in design, planning, and architecture discussions. You’ll leverage AI-assisted tooling pragmatically (e.g., configuration refactoring, scripted upgrades) to eliminate toil. You'll research and propose various design approaches and present corresponding pros and cons to fellow engineers and management. You’ll champion best practices in security, compliance, and artifact governance within the software delivery lifecycle. Who you are: You have 6+ years of software development or DevOps/platform engineering experience. You are proficient in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, Swift, Ruby, TypeScript, Go), and have knowledge of software design principles . You have practical experience managing jobs and pipelines with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitrise or GitHub Actions. You have pra
