As a Senior Optimization Consultant , you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 7+ YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.
We're looking for a senior optimization leader who has genuinely lived inside Adobe Target — building tests, wiring up integrations, debugging QA issues, and making the tool sing — and who has since grown into a role where they set strategy, mentor teams, and speak with authority in the room. This is not a role for someone who has only managed Adobe Target from a distance. The client stakeholders on this engagement are technical and opinionated, and they will push back. This person needs to win that room on credibility, not title alone. Think of the profile as: the technical expert who got promoted, not the manager who was assigned the account. They should be able to say "I've built this exact thing, here's why it breaks, and here's the better way" — and be senior enough that the recommendation carries organizational weight.
You will thrive in this role if you are:
A curious problem solver who challenges the status quo
A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge-sharing
Excited by the intersection of technology, creativity and data
Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)
Role responsibilities
Serve as the senior voice and primary point of authority on all things Adobe Target, advising technical and business stakeholders on testing strategy, personalization architecture, and platform best practices.
Push back constructively and confidently when client stakeholders propose approaches that conflict with Adobe Target best practices — backed by direct, hands-on experience rather than secondhand knowledge.
Stay current on the Adobe Target roadmap, new feature releases, and broader personalization/experimentation trends (e.g., AI-driven personalization, integration with Adobe Experience Platform / Journey Optimizer, server-side and edge-based testing), and translate what's new into practical recommendations for the client.
Provide oversight and QA on test design, targeting logic, audience segmentation, and implementation to ensure technical soundness before anything ships.
Mentor and guide more junior optimization specialists working hands-on in the platform, reviewing their work and raising the technical bar.
Act as a bridge between strategic/business objectives and the technical realities of the Adobe Target platform — equally comfortable in a whiteboard strategy session or a implementation revi
