Description: The Senior Engineer, Network & Systems is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, and support of the organization's enterprise network and server infrastructure. This role serves as a technical leader, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems supporting business operations, stadium technology, broadcasting, guest services, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and infrastructure architecture.
This role will work closely with various business units to assist with new initiatives and projects. In this role, you are expected to implement technology best practices while also emphasizing a continuous improvement mindset.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, manage, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and data center networks.
Administer core network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and network access control solutions.
Lead network architecture planning for stadium operations, corporate offices, and event-based environments.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive improvements.
Ensure high availability and redundancy for mission-critical systems.
Manage Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and storage systems.
Administer Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity management solutions.
Maintain server, application, and database infrastructure supporting business and operational systems.
Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Implement and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
Implement security best practices across network and server environments.
Manage endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security monitoring.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain compliance with organizational and industry security standards.
Participate in incident response, forensic investigations, and security audits.
Lead infrastructure projects from planning through deployment and operational support.
Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations aligned with organizational goals.
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, contractors, and technology partners.
Develop technical standards, documentation, diagrams, and operating procedures.
Participate in on-call support rotations and provide event-day technical support when required.
Maintain accurate asset inventories and lifecycle management plans.
