With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning… Come join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.   Your Impact As a Senior Mechanical Systems Specialist, you will report to the Associate Director Mechanical Systems, and work closely with the rest of the DC Operations Team and making your mark in a number of ways:     You will be the technical operational subject matter expert on all things critical HVAC as well as an important resource for other mechanical systems.   You will ensure the AirTrunk mechanical infrastructure remains effective, efficient and resilient, whist driving improved value for money maintenance and operation    You will provide operational input during the various stages of design and build, with specific emphasis on design review and commissioning activities.   You will work closely with key mechanical vendors driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.   You will work closely with our customer DC-OPS focusing on problem & change management, event support and supporting Operations Advancement on forensic engineering and product RCA’s.       You will provide support and input to incident management and resolution     Your Day to Day    The SME for all mechanical based problems and defects, gaining an in-depth understanding of AirTrunk’s critical mechanical infrastructure.    Work with your fellow Controls and Electrical Specialists to own and develop innovative ways to enhance and optimize our operations such as PUE & WUE.     Work with the AirTrunk design & safety teams, reviewing new designs to ensure that mechanical aspects of designs meet our operational and safety requirements.   Review commissioning documentation to ensure compliance for our Customers and DC Operations.    Represent DC Operations in various commissioning activities (IST and CX scripts)   Problem management & Change management review and resolution   Own the development of asset management strategies for mechanical systems    Conduct airflow management CFD’s to support customer needs.     What You'll Bring Extensive experience of Data Centre HVAC mechanical systems (5yrs+)   Experience with Control systems – BMS / EPMS / Modbus   Excellent technical knowledge of Chiller plant and chilled water systems   Technical understanding of free cooling topologies using adiabatic and waterside economizers.   Understanding of Liquid Cooling design topologies for AI / ML applications   Airflow management experience especially utilising CFD modelling and aisle containment systems.   Analytical and problem-solving skills    Strong communication skills, and able to present to customers and DC Ops.   Ability to work proactively on your own or as part of a team.   Strong technical writing skills including problem analys
