Role Summary We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Image Quality Engineer to take ownership of image quality development for our IP camera portfolio. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in camera ISP tuning, 3A algorithm optimization, sensor characterization, and embedded imaging pipelines. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and offers significant technical ownership. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end image quality development for assigned camera platforms. Perform ISP tuning across noise reduction, sharpening, color correction, gamma, HDR/WDR, temporal filtering, and related modules Develop, evaluate, and optimize 3A algorithms (AE / AWB / AF). Conduct both subjective and objective IQ evaluations using lab tools and real-world scenes. Collaborate with firmware, hardware, optics, and product teams to resolve IQ issues and improve performance. Perform sensor analysis, lens shading tuning, black-level calibration, and other calibration tasks. Support ISP integration and optimization on Ambarella and SigmaStar (sstar) SoCs. Build automation scripts and analysis tools using Python or C/C++. Work with manufacturing and validation teams to ensure consistent IQ quality in production. Candidate Profile & Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Imaging Science, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in image quality tuning, ISP pipelines, or imaging algorithm development. Solid understanding of camera sensors, optics, color science, HDR/WDR, and imaging fundamentals. Experience with 3A algorithms and ISP debugging. Practical experience on Ambarella or SigmaStar (sstar) platforms—strongly preferred. Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for automation or embedded debugging. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment.
