What you’ll do - Develop drive-by-wire and electro-hydraulic actuation systems on industrial ECUs, microcontrollers, and CAN gateways. - Reverse engineer vehicle communications (CAN / SAE J1939 / CANopen) to interface directly with OEM heavy equipment. - Design control interfaces for hydraulic actuators using PWM, high-side/low-side drivers, and analog interfaces. - Architect safety-critical systems on RTOS including hardware/firmware fail-safes and emergency stop (E-stop) interlocks. - Perform PCB integration, board bring-up, and hardware testing in laboratory and real-vehicle environments. - Write production-grade embedded C/C++ firmware for custom PCBs, ECUs, and sensor integrations. - Interface low-level embedded hardware with ROS 2 high-level autonomy stacks (experience with ROS 2 / micro-ROS is a plus, but not required).
