We are hiring a Senior Developer to help us in the build our platforms within the Delta Capita Capital Markets division which supports top-tier investment banks and financial services firms with lifecycle of OTC products. The platform we are building is Cloud-hosted, and a fully server-less service. We have an opportunity for a Senior Developer to learn and grow within Financial Services, as well as engaging with, and delivering upon, a true AWS-based environment. The future-state platform builds and deploy will be a major part of their role. But we would welcome the Senior Developer to be involved when clients have incidents expecting this individual to want to be an active part of trouble-shooting incidents, as much as being a part of the DC developer community. Reporting into the Delta Capita Capital Markets development teams, working within each of the core platform component teams. We need this person to embrace the business we are building, work closely with our business stakeholders, and to help train, and support future generations of the team.   Key responsibilities Developer, for coding the core components within our platforms, which provides our clients within multiple world-renowned financial institutions, the technology capabilities to support their capital markets business. Essential Skills & Experience Minimum experience of 5+ years Java/Kotlin and/or JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJS capability - amongst other development frameworks React and/or Angular RESTful API - developing MySQL/Postgres Secure Coding Practices AWS experience AWS Lambda experience AWS Tooling S3 experience Pipeline delivery tools / Continuous Integration frameworks Agile/Scrum Desirable Skills & Experience BPMN workflow (such as Flowable/Camunda) Python Experience working in Consulting Businesses Experience working with Investment Banks How We Work: Delta Capita is an equal opportunity employer.
