Position Purpose: The Senior Demand Planner is responsible for leading the demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across assigned product portfolios within the Luxury Lifestyle business. This role ensures accurate demand forecasting, optimal inventory management, and effective supply planning to support business growth while maintaining high customer service levels. Description of Duties: Demand Planning & Forecasting Lead the end-to-end demand planning process for assigned product categories across multiple sales channels, including retail, e-commerce, distributors, and key accounts. Develop and maintain an accurate rolling 12–18 month demand forecast by integrating statistical forecasting, historical sales trends, market intelligence, promotional activities, product lifecycle events, pricing initiatives, and customer insights. Challenge commercial assumptions through data analysis and recommend forecast adjustments to improve forecast quality. Monitor demand performance and identify emerging market trends, demand shifts, and business opportunities. Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Own and facilitate the monthly Demand Review and S&OP process, ensuring alignment between Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Regional Supply Chain teams. Build consensus demand plans that support revenue, margin, inventory, and customer service objectives. Present demand outlook, supply constraints, inventory risks, and mitigation plans to senior management. Ensure demand plans remain aligned with financial budgets and business objectives.. Supply & Inventory Management Translate approved demand forecasts into supply requirements and collaborate with regional planning teams and manufacturing partners on replenishment plans. Manage inventory health by balancing product availability with working capital objectives. Proactively manage allocation, supply shortages, excess inventory, product transitions, end-of-life products, and new product introductions. Partner with Logistics and Customer Operations to optimize inventory deployment across all sales channels. Business Analytics Analyze demand patterns, product performance, customer purchasing behavior, and forecast variances to generate actionable business insights. Develop scenario planning and what-if analysis to support business decision-making. Identify risks related to supply disruption, excess inventory, demand volatility, and product lifecycle changes, recommending mitigation strategies. Support executive reporting through KPI dashboards and business reviews. Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary planning partner for Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Customer Operations, and Regional Supply Chain teams. Influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations while balancing commercial priorities with operational capabilities. Build strong collaborative relationships across local, regional, and global teams. Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, planning efficiency, and inventory optimization. Standardize planning processes and promote best practices across the organization. Support ERP, planning system enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and process automation projects.
