We are seeking for a Senior Data Steward for our client from the banking sector. Job description: Supported data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives within the banking sector. Contributed to BCBS239 implementation by identifying and resolving data quality issues. Maintained and enhanced business glossaries to ensure consistent data definitions across the organization. Implemented and monitored data quality controls to improve data accuracy and reliability. Defined and maintained end-to-end data lineage to support regulatory and business requirements. Collaborated with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen data management practices. Supported the enhancement of regulatory reporting processes and data governance frameworks. Ensured compliance with internal data governance standards and regulatory requirements. Facilitated cross-functional cooperation to improve data ownership, stewardship, and accountability. Requirements Experience in data governance, data management, or similar roles Banking or financial services industry experience Strong SQL skills Data analysis capabilities Understanding of data warehousing and reporting Knowledge of database structures Experience with MS Office Experience with JIRA, Confluence Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Fluent English (written and spoken) Nice to Have Skills: Regulatory reporting experience Knowledge of BCBS239 Business knowledge of banking products, systems, and processes Experience with data lineage frameworks Benefits Diverse and technically challenging projects.
