In this role, you will leverage advanced statistical modelling, machine learning, and data engineering to solve complex business problems and build scalable data products. As a senior member of the team, you will drive technical excellence, design robust data architectures, and mentor other data scientists to elevate our overall technical capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead on major data science initiatives, defining project scopes, methodologies, and engineering best practices. - Model Development: Design, build, evaluate, and deploy highly scalable machine learning models and predictive analytics in a production environment. - Mentorship & Guidance: Actively mentor and guide intermediate and junior data scientists, providing constructive feedback on code reviews, model design, and experimental methodologies. - Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Senior Executives to translate complex business objectives into actionable data science roadmaps. - Scalability & Architecture: Architect clean, reproducible data pipelines and frameworks to eliminate technical debt and ensure long-term model reliability. Qualifications & Experience - Experience: 5–8 years of professional experience in a dedicated Data Science or Machine Learning engineering role. - Technical Leadership: Proven track record of technically leading data science projects and mentoring other data scientists (direct people management experience is not required). - Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Python and SQL.
