Description
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in San José, Costa Rica. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, managing complex accounting processes, and providing crucial support to the financial management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance, along with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.   You will:   Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, or NIIF standards Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries Oversee general accounting functions, providing support to financial management. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual working papers Ensure standards and policies are adhered to, and internal controls are in place to support accounting processes and Sarbanes Oxley requirements Maintain a thorough understanding of Costa Rican tax regulations, auditing requirements, and fiscal laws.
