Description
Our client is seeking a Security Infrastructure Developer to join its Infrastructure & Security team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for cybersecurity, Linux administration, and infrastructure automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure server environments, monitoring security threats, automating infrastructure tasks, and supporting the continuous improvement of the company's hosting and security infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Security Monitor and maintain Linux server infrastructure across WHM, cPanel, Plesk, and Cloudflare. Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats, including malware, phishing, SQL injection, DDoS, and other attacks. Monitor server logs and security events to identify vulnerabilities and incidents. Perform server hardening, infrastructure upgrades, and security improvements. Conduct penetration testing, security audits, and risk assessments. Automation & Operations Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PHP. Automate server administration, patch management, and operational tasks. Support cloud and on-premises infrastructure security. Document incidents, remediation activities, and technical procedures. Requirements 1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity, server administration, or infrastructure. Strong Linux command-line skills. Experience with WHM, cPanel, Plesk, and/or Cloudflare. Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PHP). Understanding of common cyber threats and web security best practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Fluent English. Nice to Have Experience with SIEM platforms or security monitoring tools. Knowledge of ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST CSF. Experience securing WordPress or hosting environments. Security certifications such as Security+, eJPT, or CEH.
