Paladin Security is Hiring a Security Guard! 📍 Brooks, AB 💰 CA$17.00/hour (Approx. CA$35,360/year ) 🕒 Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM 🏢 On-Site Make a Difference Every Shift At Paladin Security , we believe that great security starts with great people. We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused Security Guard to join our team at the MHC Brooks Campus . This is a consistent Monday through Friday evening schedule , making it an excellent opportunity for someone seeking work-life balance while playing an important role in protecting people and property. Every day, you'll provide exceptional customer service, respond to incidents with professionalism, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone on site. What You'll Do Patrol the property on foot to maintain a safe and secure environment. Provide outstanding customer service and assist visitors, staff, and clients. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and medical incidents. De-escalate conflicts professionally and calmly. Coordinate with police, fire, and EMS when necessary. Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs. Monitor site activity and enforce safety policies. Operate communication equipment, including radios and mobile applications. Provide basic first aid when required. Assist with lost-and-found inquiries and general site support. Requirements Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid Alberta Security License (or ability to obtain one before starting). Ability to walk long distances (up to 18–20 km per shift) and climb stairs. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Class 5 Alberta Driver's License. Previous experience in security, customer service, hospitality, healthcare, or public service. Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Certification. Benefits Why Join Paladin Security?
