To drive this vision, our Security Engineering team operates at the absolute forefront of the field, embedding secure-by-design capabilities directly into our engineering DNA. We are looking for a Security Engineering Tech Lead to shape our long-term strategy, advance our automation, and deepen developer trust across the organization. This is a rare opportunity to directly influence the technical direction of a high-scale platform while mentoring a talented team of engineers, without losing your hands-on edge.   What You’ll Do:   Shape and execute our cloud-native security strategy, serving as the technical lead for AWS, Kubernetes, and IAM architecture. Partner closely with Platform Engineering to build reusable security capabilities into the engineering platform. Scale our security posture by engineering self-service guardrails and automated controls that allow product teams to ship faster, safely. Standardize security patterns and reference architectures that enable cross-organization scalability while reducing friction for engineering teams. Drive secure adoption of AI-assisted development, agentic workflows, and developer productivity platforms. Elevate the team's technical maturity by mentoring engineers, refining design reviews, and fostering a culture of security ownership.   What We Need:   7+ years in security engineering, cloud security, or a related technical security role At least 2 years in a tech lead, staff-level, or mentorship capacity Strong hands-on AWS security experience across IAM, networking, workload security, logging, monitoring, and cloud-native services. Strong Kubernetes and containerized environment security knowledge Experience with IaC, CI/CD security, distributed systems, identity, and access control Ability to review technical designs and provide clear, practical security guidance Strong communication skills in Hebrew and English Proven track record of influencing stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives across multiple engineering teams.   Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI, LLM, MCP, or agentic development environments. Background in security automation, internal security platforms, or developer-facing tooling Experience with threat modeling, security architecture, or secure design programs Scripting or coding experience in Python, Go, or similar Experience designing and building security automation or internal security platforms at scale.   Note on Fraudulent Recruiting We have become aware that there may be fraudulent recruiting attempts being made by people posing as representatives of ERGO NEXT Insurance.
