We are looking for a  Security Engineer  to join our growing Cyber Security team, helping clients modernise and secure their identity environments using Okta's industry-leading solutions. The Security Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying and delivering secure identity solutions across workforce and customer identity platforms. You'll work closely with customers to understand business and security requirements, lead workshops, develop identity architectures, and deliver solutions that improve security, user experience and compliance outcomes. What you will be doing: Act as an Okta SME, providing guidance on identity security, Zero Trust, governance, authentication and authorisation strategies. Lead discovery workshops, identity assessments, architecture reviews and solution design sessions. Design and deliver proof-of-concepts, demonstrations and presentations for technical and executive stakeholders. Translate business, security and compliance requirements into scalable identity solutions. Design and support solutions across SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Access, Auth0 and Identity Threat Protection. Develop architecture documentation, implementation guides and customer-facing technical artefacts. Support pre-sales activities, technical responses, implementation planning and service development initiatives. Contribute to repeatable service offerings including Identity Assessments, Identity Modernisation programs, Governance Reviews, Identity Health Checks and Zero Trust roadmaps. Requirements What you bring: 5+ years' experience in Identity and Access Management, cybersecurity consulting, security engineering or solution architecture. Proven experience designing and delivering Okta Workforce Identity and Customer Identity solutions within enterprise environments. Strong understanding of modern identity security practices, including SSO, MFA, Identity Governance, Privileged Access and Zero Trust architectures. Experience leading customer workshops, architecture reviews, solution demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across business, security and technical teams. Experience supporting technical sales engagements, solution design, implementation planning and service delivery. Hands-on experience with identity migrations, modernisation programs and cloud-based identity platforms is highly regarded. Previous experience working with vendors, partners or technology alliances is advantageous.
