Description
Help make the world more hospitable The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences. You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building. If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here. About the role Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this: You'll monitor, detect and respond to security incidents across Mews' environment, working inside Microsoft Sentinel to catch and triage what needs attention day to day. Security events don't wait for office hours, and this role exists to make sure alerts get triaged, investigated and closed out before they turn into real incidents. You'll work closely with the wider security team, documenting what you find and feeding back on patterns and emerging threats. You'll triage and investigate security events in Sentinel, document findings, and recommend remediation steps, working alongside the security team on active threats. As Mews' systems and user base grow, the volume and variety of security events grows with them, and someone needs to be watching, triaging and documenting consistently so nothing goes unnoticed. What you would do Monitor security events and alerts using Microsoft Sentinel Investigate, document and report on information security issues as well as emerging trends Triage security events and determine the appropriate response Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation Collaborate with the security team to identify and mitigate threats Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures What you would bring 2+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) role Experience triaging security events and using Microsoft Sentinel Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS or ISO, and experience with security policies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Fluent English You use AI as a real part of your workflow, not as a novelty Nice to have Vulnerability management experience Spain €46.000 — €59.500 EUR Czechia 867 000 Kč — 1 240 000 Kč CZK Pay Transparency at Mews Salary ranges are provided in good faith and reflect current market conditions and internal pay structures.
