Description
About this role: This role sits at the intersection of deep Salesforce platform expertise and broader systems thinking. This role carries both solution design and delivery mandate. Requirements Role responsibilities: Own platform health. Take ownership of the technical health, design and governance of the Salesforce platform — Apex, LWC, Flow, data model, security model and permission sets. Set standards. Define and enforce coding standards, AI coding practices and governor limit strategies. Lead delivery operations. Lead release management, sandbox strategy and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines. Design integrations. Oversee how Salesforce connects into the broader enterprise landscape — marketing automation, ERP, HR, enrichment tools — using API-led connectivity, event-driven patterns and middleware. Drive innovation. Assess and champion adoption of new Salesforce features and emerging AI/Agentforce capabilities. Review and elevate. Lead design reviews and technical RFCs before major builds, and run code reviews focused on teaching and raising the team's technical ceiling. Mentor and coach. Support mid-to-senior engineers on solution trade-offs, integration impact, scalability and observability (this role may or may not have direct reports). Bridge business and engineering. Translate business requirements and company OKRs into technical briefs, and connect engineering and product stakeholders. This role is for you if you have: Hands-on Salesforce development experience Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC and Flow — including async processing, batch jobs, triggers and complex component composition Deep knowledge of Salesforce data modelling, SOQL optimisation and large data volumes Strong understanding of integration patterns: REST APIs, event streaming, middleware Experience with DevOps and CI-CD tooling — Git strategy, scratch orgs, deployment automation Comfortable communicating architecture clearly to non-technical stakeholders and leading design reviews Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, design critiques and pairing sessions Familiarity with Account Engagement and/or Marketing Cloud is a plus Salesforce Platform Developer II and Administrator certifications required; Application Architect, System Architect, AI Associate/Specialist or Integration Architecture Designer certifications are strongly preferred This role is not for you if: You'd rather stay purely hands-on than also own architecture, standards and platform governance — this role carries both You're not interested in mentoring — teaching through code reviews and design critiques is core to the role You prefer working in a single domain — this role spans platform, integrations, DevOps and cross-team alignment You're not curious about emerging AI/Agentforce capabilities — exploring how Salesforce fits into agent workflows is part of the job Benefits Who we are: Welcome to GoodHabitz, one of the fastest-growing international EdTech companies in Europe.
