ABOUT THE ROLE
At Riveron, a nationally recognized business advisory firm, we combine deep industry knowledge with innovative technology to drive meaningful business outcomes. We’re seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud to join our Technology & Innovation team.
In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions that support sales operations, revenue growth, and go-to-market strategies across the enterprise. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to translate sales processes into high-performing, secure, and maintainable Salesforce applications.
WHO YOU ARE
- You have 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with deep expertise in Sales Cloud.
- You are highly proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL.
- You have designed and implemented Sales Cloud data models, including Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Products, Price Books, Quotes, and Forecasting.
- You have experience building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware tools such as MuleSoft.
- You have a strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- You are skilled in Salesforce declarative automation tools, including Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and (where applicable) Process Builder.
- You actively contribute in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, estimations, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- You are familiar with CI/CD practices and tools such as Git, Copado, Gearset, and Salesforce DX.
- You hold a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required).
- You collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams, acting as a trusted advisor for sales-related solutions.
- You write clean, scalable, and well-documented code aligned with Salesforce best practices and long-term maintainability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop, customize, and maintain Sales Cloud solutions that support lead-to-cash and opportunity management processes.
- Design and enhance custom objects, Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to meet sales and revenue requirements.
- Build and optimize functionality related to Leads, Opportunities, Products, Pricing, Quotes, Sales Forecasting, and Pipelines.
- Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between Salesforce Sales Cloud and external systems (CRM, ERP, finance, and marketing platforms).
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate sales strategies into effective technical solutions.
- Automate and streamline sales workflows using Flows and Apex, ensuring performance and governor limit compliance.
- Participate in technical design reviews, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with Salesforce best practices.
- Support DevOps and deployment activities, including version control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to sales users.
- Contribute to technical documentation, solution design artifacts, and knowledge sharing within the development team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Salesforce Administrator, or App Builder.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ or advanced pricing and quoting solutions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce reporting and dashboards to support sales performance insights.
- Experience working with multi-region or global sales organizations.
- Exposure to Salesforce integration patterns and enterprise-scale implementations.
- Prior experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical initiatives.
- Background in professional services, consulting, or enterprise transformation projects.
