CFM is seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to lead and grow our Applied Equipment business. Reporting directly to the President, this highly visible leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of the division, including sales strategy, financial results, team development, manufacturer relationships, customer satisfaction, and long-term market growth.
The ideal candidate is a proven commercial HVAC sales leader who can balance strategic planning with hands-on team leadership. This individual will guide and develop a team of inside and outside sales professionals, strengthen relationships with customers and manufacturing partners, identify new growth opportunities, and ensure the business consistently achieves its revenue, profitability, and market-share objectives.

Reports to: President FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation: $175,000–$200,000 base salary, plus bonus Relocation: Candidates open to regional relocation are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing projections, contract administrations, and sales effectiveness.
Develops strategic short and long-range sales objectives including operations, personnel and financial performance.
Responsible for achieving Sales objectives regarding market share, profit, and growth goals.
Ability to successfully lead a team of inside and outside sales team members.
Assist outside Sales team members in developing short-term and long-term sales plans and conduct quarterly meetings to review their sales plans.
Sets work priorities for direct reports by reviewing sales performance and aligning their goals and behaviors with company’s short and long-term goals and expectations.
Assign new and existing accounts as necessary.
Responsible for mediating internal and external sales issues that arise due to warranty, commission splits, and other disputes.
Create and maintain a culture of Involvement, engagement, ownership, respect, fairness accountability and consistency based on CFM’s Mission, Vision and Values.
Responsible for Managing expectations and relationships with the Manufacturers we represent within the assigned territory, with a commitment to meeting all manufacturers’ sales expectations.
Develops and ensures that quality standards are maintained, for processes and functions.
Maintains outstanding customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, advising corrective action, and communicating with customers and manufacturers.
Responsible for keeping abreast of external market conditions and internal requirements related to equipment.
Develop leadership within the local sales office, including administrative, inside and outside sales team for future individual, strategic growth and succession planning.
