Description
Lucidya is an AI-native platform for customer experience (CX) intelligence that manages entire customer lifecycles autonomously, from initial engagement through retention and growth. Unlike platforms that only surface insights and leave the action to you, Lucidya completes the loop with proprietary NLU capabilities developed entirely in-house and trained on millions of multilingual conversations, equipping marketing, support, CX, and research teams to deliver personalized experiences that drive measurable improvements in customer satisfaction, retention, and lifetime value. Why this role matters Lucidya is entering an exciting stage of growth, and we're looking for a Sales Director to help scale our commercial organisation and drive the next phase of our success. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll lead a team of sales professionals responsible for winning complex, high-value opportunities, building lasting customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. You'll shape how the team sells, coach them through challenging sales cycles, and build the discipline needed to create a predictable, high-performing sales organisation. This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the business. You'll spend time coaching your team, supporting strategic customer engagements, and working cross-functionally to continuously improve how we go to market. Your impact won't only be measured by revenue, but by the strength of the team you build and the sales culture you create. What You'll Do Develop and execute the sales strategy to deliver ambitious revenue growth and support Lucidya's long-term commercial objectives. Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Support your team in winning complex, strategic opportunities by providing guidance throughout the sales cycle and helping remove obstacles. Build trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and become a key partner during high-value commercial engagements. Drive healthy pipeline generation, opportunity progression and forecast accuracy through strong CRM discipline and sales management. Establish clear KPIs, monitor team performance and use data to continuously improve sales execution. Navigate complex buying journeys involving multiple stakeholders, formal procurement processes and executive decision-makers. Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success and executive leadership to improve customer outcomes and accelerate business growth. Continuously identify opportunities to improve sales processes, forecasting, pipeline quality and overall commercial effectiveness. Requirements Who You Are You have 5+ years of experience leading high-performing B2B SaaS sales teams in a fast-growing environment. You've consistently delivered ambitious revenue targets and know how to build predictable, scalable sales organisations. You're an exceptional coach who enjoys developing people and helping them perform at their best. You're comfortable leading from the front, supporting your team through strategic customer meetings, negotiations and complex commercial opportunities. You have experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and understand how to maintain momentum through formal buying and procurement processes. You're commercially minded, using data, forecasting and pipeline insights to make informed decisions and improve team performance. You build trust quickly with customers, your team and cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication and strong commercial judgement. You thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve, challenges are welcomed and continuous improvement is expected. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred. What the hiring process will look like Stage 1: Introductory conversation with Talent Acquisition. Stage 2: Interview
