Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO—replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient. ALSO is looking for a full-time Retail Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations of our retail store in/around Seattle, WA. This is a store-based, customer-facing leadership role that works closely with and reports to the Market Manager to deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience, drive sales performance, and lead a team of Sales Associates. You'll be the anchor of our physical presence—setting the tone on the floor, coaching the sales associate team, and turning walk-in curiosity into loyal ALSO riders. This role is ideal for someone who is a natural leader, operationally sharp, and excited to help build the foundation of ALSO's retail presence in Seattle, WA. What You Will Do Team Leadership & Supervision - Supervise, coach, and schedule Sales Associates to ensure shifts run smoothly and the store is fully staffed - Act as the on-site leader in the Market Manager's absence, making real-time decisions on staffing, customer issues, and daily priorities - Onboard and train new team members on product knowledge, selling techniques, and store procedures - Foster a positive, high-performing team culture rooted in accountability and brand enthusiasm Customer Experience & Sales - Deliver engaging customer experiences on the retail floor including product demos and test rides - Guide customers from initial interest through purchase, educating them on ALSO products and features - Coach associates to convert foot traffic into qualified leads and closed sales - Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and support local demo and activation events as needed Retail Store Operations - Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store is clean, organized, and on-brand - Manage inventory tracking, cycle counts, and visual merchandising standards - Keep the demo fleet clean, charged, and customer-ready at all times - Prepare basic sales, inventory, and performance reports for the Market Manager Compliance & Safety - Enforce operational, safety, and compliance processes across the store and demo fleet - Maintain accurate records related to test rides, vehicle handling, and safety protocols Community & Brand Engagement - Act as a local brand ambassador, building authentic relationships with customers and community partners - Share customer feedback and floor insights with the Market Manager to continuously improve the in-store experience What You Will Bring - 3–4 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory, keyholder, or team lead role - Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and investment in your team's growth - Strong communication and coaching skills — you can tell a compelling story and close a sale - Proven ability to manage store operations including scheduling, inventory, and opening/closing procedures - Comfortable working weekends and peak hours — you thrive on hitting sales goals in a fast-paced environment - Genuine enthusiasm for cycling, micro-mobility, EVs, or innovative consumer brands - Strong connection to the Seattle community and excitement about engaging locally - Coachable and collaborative — you give and receive feedback well at all levels - Comfortable riding a bike and able to safely operate and demonstrate our vehicles - Must be 21+ with a valid U.S. driver's license, 3+ years of driving experience, and able to pass a background and mot
