Newstaff Employment Services is currently recruiting for a Removal Porter to join our team in Luton 6am start, however could finish at different times each day. The Removal Porter will play a vital role in assisting with the loading and unloading of furniture and goods during removals and deliveries. This hands-on position requires a physically fit, reliable, and proactive individual who can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist with the loading and unloading of furniture, boxes, and other goods during removals. Handle items carefully to prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction. Support the moving team in packing and unpacking possessions as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the removal vehicle and equipment. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure safe working practices. Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate removal activities. Requirements Previous experience in removals, warehousing, or a similar manual handling role is preferred but not essential. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely and repeatedly throughout the day. Strong work ethic with a proactive and positive attitude. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Flexibility to work varied hours including early mornings and weekends as required.
