Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and develop new recipes. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency. Assist with catering events as required, providing exceptional service to clients. Requirements Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
