Aureol Global Connections is expanding and is currently looking for 5 talented Quantity Surveyors to join our team. In these essential roles, you will be responsible for overseeing cost management, budget estimation, and financial planning for a variety of construction projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to monitor expenses, prepare financial reports, and provide insightful recommendations for cost optimization. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for ongoing and upcoming construction projects. Monitor and control project costs, ensuring compliance with financial targets and reporting requirements. Assist in the tendering process by preparing Bills of Quantities and evaluating contractor bids. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify potential cost variations. Collaborate with project managers to implement effective cost management strategies. Review contracts and negotiate terms with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve best value. Provide advice on financial matters related to claims, variations, and contract disputes. Stay updated on market trends and legislative changes impacting the construction sector. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry. Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, financial management, and cost estimating. Proficient in quantity surveying software and MS Office applications. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate cost assessment. Strong communication and negotiation abilities for liaising with clients and contractors. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is advantageous but not required.
