Description
Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer or Process Quality Engineer with strong expertise in Software Quality Assurance, Process Excellence, Quality Management Systems, compliance assessments, audits, metrics management, and process improvement. The candidate must have relevant experience working in IT software organisations, predominantly in software-development companies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership teams, delivery teams, project managers, engineering teams, auditors, and other internal and external stakeholders are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities ● Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the organisation’s Quality Management System. ● Support QMS implementation, process assessments, certification activities, and audit preparation. ● Conduct internal quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements. ● Perform process-compliance reviews across software-development and delivery projects. ● Ensure adherence to defined organisational processes, quality standards, and applicable compliance requirements. ● Work closely with leadership and project teams to identify quality risks, process gaps, and non-compliances. ● Review project documentation, process adherence, metrics, deliverables, and supporting quality evidence. ● Prepare projects and organisational functions for internal, external, customer, and certification audits. ● Support Software Quality Assurance and Process Quality Management activities. ● Define, collect, analyse, and report project-level and organisational quality metrics. ● Identify trends, deviations, process gaps, and improvement opportunities using quality data. ● Conduct root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions for identified non-conformities. ● Track audit observations, non-compliances, corrective actions, and closure evidence. ● Support process-improvement initiatives across Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall delivery environments. ● Maintain quality dashboards, audit reports, compliance reports, and management-review presentations. ● Conduct risk assessments and ensure that critical quality risks are appropriately escalated. ● Collaborate with delivery managers, project managers, engineering teams, auditors, and senior leadership. ● Provide process guidance and quality-related support to software-development teams. ● Promote quality awareness, process discipline, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
