Eidel has a growing portfolio of projects and is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and support our continued growth. About the role As a Quality Engineer at Eidel, you will work with planning, coordinating, executing, and following up quality and product assurance activities in our projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers and lead system engineers to ensure that quality requirements are understood, implemented, and followed up throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to project work, you will support our quality management function in maintaining and further developing Eidel’s Quality Management System (QMS). Typical tasks include updates to processes and procedures, participation in internal reviews, and support of supply chain quality activities. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in software quality or software development, but encourage applicants with other quality or product assurance experience to apply. The specific tasks and responsibilities will be adapted to your background, experience, and development goals. Some travel should be expected as part of the role. Responsibilities Manage quality and product assurance requirements in projects Plan and execute product and quality assurance activities in projects Ensure verification and validation activities are performed according to plan Conduct project reviews according to our QMS Contribute to the review, maintenance, and improvement of Eidel’s QMS Support development and maintenance of product assurance processes Assist in maintaining quality and security processes across the organization Desired background MSc in a technical or quality-related field (relevant work experience can compensate for lacking formal education) 5 years of experience in quality or product assurance (software background is an advantage) Experience with standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, AQAP-2110/2210, and/or ECSS Professional working proficiency in English is required; Norwegian skills are an advantage.
