ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a Quality Engineer to contribute to continual product and process improvements at Form Energy. In this role, you will develop and document quality processes, participate in cross-functional teams, and work with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Suppliers, and Operations to address quality and manufacturability challenges. This is a hands-on individual contributor role spanning the entire product development lifecycle — from early R&D through validation testing, pilot builds, and SOP/customer deliveries. You will be an integral member of Form Energy's Quality Team, helping ensure all products meet customer and company requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work closely with Design/Manufacturing Engineering to develop and document measurement, inspection, and test methods in support of Control Plans
- Support change management and execution of process development experiments
- Review PFMEAs and Control Plans and assist with updates and revisions
- Assist in the identification and resolution of manufacturing quality issues
- Participate in continuous improvement activities with Design/Manufacturing Engineering and external Suppliers
- Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities and use critical thinking to reduce manufacturing variation
- Support non-conforming material control activities
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 0–3 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing-related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with SPC, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
- Aptitude with electronic test and measurement systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Structured problem-solving skills (8D) and foundational knowledge of statistical tools including DOE, Process Capability (Cpk, Ppk), etc.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, R, Minitab, or equivalent
- Ability to manage, synthesize, and interpret data
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills
