At our core is Machine Intelligence (MujinMI), a unique approach that leverages real-time digital twins and advanced perception, planning, and control algorithms to achieve fully autonomous operations. Our flagship product, MujinController, empowers users with a highly configurable, no-code interface. By integrating cutting-edge motion planning and computer vision, it enables seamless automation for complex applications such as palletizing, picking, and truck unloading. Headquartered in Japan with a growing presence in the US, China, and Europe, we invite you to join a dynamic environment where you can shape the future of automation. Who we are looking for As a Quality Assurance Manager at Mujin, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Mujin Controller and Mujin Pendant. In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and refine quality assurance frameworks, uncover and resolve defects, and continuously elevate product quality. Your deep understanding of embedded systems—both hardware and software—will be key to delivering world-class solutions. You will also be a key point of contact between Mujin’s global teams—including Mujin Europe, Mujin US, and other international branches—to ensure consistent quality standards across regions. By resolving local issues swiftly and sharing best practices, you’ll help maintain high customer satisfaction worldwide. Responsibilities Lead quality assurance efforts across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment. Design and implement quality control processes and KPIs (e.g., FPY) to measure and improve product performance. Maintain and analyze quality databases to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and enforce QA policies and procedures to ensure consistent standards. Oversee manufacturing and quality documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformance events. Conduct internal and supplier audits to uphold quality standards. Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their product and process quality. Ensure the quality of deliverables from subcontractors, including conducting design reviews and black-box testing evaluations. Lead training initiatives to promote quality awareness and efficiency across teams. Coordinate with global Mujin teams to align quality practices and resolve region-specific issues promptly.
