You’re looking for more than a role, you want to be part of a growing, forward-thinking company solving real-world challenges to improve how farming works, today and for the future.  As the Quality Assurance Engineer (Intermediate), you own quality assurance for your team throughout the software delivery process. Embedded within a cross-functional team, you collaborate with product and development from the early stages of requirements analysis and design, then ensure quality throughout the development and release lifecycle. This role ensures the final product delivered is fit for production, meaning it is reliable, handles expected and unexpected scenarios, and meets the defined requirements. What you will do: Planning and Testing Owns the quality assurance process for your team throughout the software development lifecycle, creating and executing test plans Ensures that key areas are tested to provide confidence that the product meets its intended purpose Participates in continuous testing alongside the development team during product delivery Writes clear and concise test plans, test cases, and defect reports Plans and coordinates test sessions in collaboration with the team and other QA colleagues Identifies, logs, and communicates system defects and test failures Performs regression testing on new software releases Clarifies and validates acceptance criteria for requirements with product and developers Product Quality Helps ensure the software delivered is high quality, fit for purpose, and addresses real user needs Analyzes requirements and identifies gaps or inconsistencies before they reach development Distinguishes between user requests and the underlying needs behind them Evaluates information from multiple sources, clarifying and organizing key points Breaks down high-level requirements into actionable detail Teamwork Works as a core member of a cross-functional team and collaborates with stakeholders throughout the software development process Drives communication and coordination to help ensure software quality and smooth delivery Collaborates with product managers, developers, and support staff to ensure software specifications are understood and implemented correctly Partners with customer support to investigate reported issues and identify solutions Works with QA colleagues and other teams to improve product quality Helps enhance the testing process, including reducing reliance on manual regression testing through shared strategies and tools Requirements We want you to succeed, so you will need: 2 to 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing A solid foundation in testing principles and tools The ability to work independently and own testing for a team's deliverables Confident cross-functional
