Job Title: QA Tester / Software Quality Assurance Tester Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to evaluate software applications and ensure they meet quality standards before release. The QA Tester will be responsible for identifying bugs, reporting issues, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software. Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and specifications to create detailed test plans and test cases Execute manual and/or automated test cases for web, mobile, or desktop applications Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing Collaborate with developers to reproduce, verify, and resolve defects Validate fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective Ensure compliance with quality standards, processes, and best practices Prepare test reports and provide testing status updates to stakeholders Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–X years of experience in software testing or quality assurance Good understanding of SDLC and STLC Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies Experience with defect tracking and test management tools Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git) Performance or security testing exposure Soft Skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team Good time management and multitasking skills Proactive mindset with a quality-first attitude Footer for a Job Post
