ROLE We are seeking a highly technical and detail-oriented QA Automation & DevOps Specialist to improve Double the Donation’s product velocity and deployment reliability. This role will sit at the intersection of Product and Engineering, owning the transition from manual testing workflows to an automated, scalable QA and deployment pipeline. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test systems, reducing bottlenecks in the development lifecycle, and supporting infrastructure reliability. The goal is to enable faster, higher-quality releases while allowing Product Designers and Engineers to focus on high-value work. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) to ensure coverage of critical product workflows - Translate product requirements and user flows into scalable, automated test cases - Identify gaps in current QA processes and proactively improve testing coverage and reliability - Collaborate closely with Product Designers and Engineers to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards - Own and optimize the testing lifecycle within the development process, reducing manual QA dependency - Support CI/CD pipeline management and improvements to ensure smooth and reliable deployments - Monitor application performance and deployment stability, identifying and resolving issues proactively - Document testing frameworks, processes, and best practices for internal teams - Track and report on testing coverage, bug trends, and deployment quality metrics SETUP - This is a work-from-home setup - Target of 42.5 billable hours per week This role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your day.
