The first phase of this project is 120MW DC. Project Manager Substation & Electrical Systems atNorth are now looking for a skilled and driven Electrical Project Manager to join our project in Haugesund area and the Development team in Norway In this role, you will be responsible for delivering reliable and compliant project and construction management support, enabling smooth project execution and ensuring a seamless handover to Operations. You will oversee projects from planning through to completion, manage contractors on-site, and collaborate closely with internal teams such as Design, Security, and Operations. This is a great opportunity to contribute to large-scale, high-impact data center developments across the Nordics. Key responsibilities: Oversee that all design of substation and electrical systems are done to meet atNorth standards and local regulations Support procurement of OFCI equipment and substation components and ensure timely delivery of owner-furnished equipment. Support and oversee procurement and contract negotiation for substation Contractor and Data Centre (DC) Contractor for electrical systems in collaboration with Commercial and Delivery team. Oversee projects from planning to completion in collaboration with the local project team. Manage the Substation Contractor and DC contractor (Electrical Scope) on a daily basis and escalate issues when needed. Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations and safety requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Design, Security, and Operations. Develop, maintain, and track project schedules together with relevant stakeholders. Lead weekly progress meetings and ensure alignment on milestones and deliverables for substation contractors and electrical SOW on the DC Monitor and report site progress, including working hours and construction status. Ensure installations meet atNorth’s quality standards and are in compliance with local regulations and client requirements. Oversee commissioning activities in coordination with the Commissioning Manager. Your profile: Minimum 5 years of experience in project or construction management Experience with design and build contracts. Experience with Norwegian Contract standards, NS8407. Experience working on complex or large-scale construction projects (data center experience is an advantage, not a requirement) Knowledge of HV substations and complex HV/LV systems with redundancies, including local power storage and generation Coordination between design & contractors, and the local DSO Risk & Compliance management, ensuring all installations meet regional energy regulations and safety standards.
