Description
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in electronic security systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same? We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to join our growing operations team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the delivery of security installation projects from initial planning through to successful handover, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Working closely with customers, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring project success while maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. The Role As a Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple electronic security projects, managing all aspects of project delivery including planning, scheduling, installation, commissioning, customer communication, and project handover. You'll be responsible for coordinating installation teams and subcontractors, monitoring project performance and profitability, and ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and company procedures throughout the project lifecycle. This role will involve occasional travel to customer sites and project locations. Key Responsibilities Manage projects from award through to completion and client handover. Develop and oversee project plans, programmes of work, and installation schedules. Review project specifications, contracts, and technical requirements to ensure successful delivery. Liaise with customers, sales teams, and technical stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure project requirements are fully understood. Coordinate installation engineers and subcontractors to ensure works are completed efficiently and safely. Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Ensure customers and key stakeholders receive regular updates on project status and milestones. Manage project budgets and profitability, escalating any concerns where appropriate. Organise commissioning activities, customer training, and final project documentation. Ensure all handover documentation, certificates, and project records are completed accurately and issued on time. Support accurate invoicing and financial reporting through effective project tracking. Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, company policies, and quality procedures. Participate in regular project review meetings and provide clear progress updates.
