SUMMARY: The Project Controls Analyst provides financial, planning, and project control support to business unit leaders and project managers. This role ensures accurate cost management, effective scheduling, and compliance with company and client requirements to support BRPH’s operational and financial goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Project Controls & Analysis Track and analyze project costs, including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, and forecasts. Investigate and explain variances between estimated, committed, and actual costs; recommend corrective actions or recovery plans. Support development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project coding, and accurate task/cost allocations. Apply earned value methodologies and other project performance metrics to monitor progress and trends. Monitor and report on cost and schedule changes, ensuring visibility to project management. Contribute to change control management and critical path method (CPM) scheduling as needed. Financial Management & Compliance Prepare, review, and analyze accounting records, project financials, and management reports for accuracy and completeness. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets; prepare variance analyses and present findings to management. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and customer-specific requirements. Support internal and external audit processes. Reporting & Communication Provide timely financial and project performance reports to management and stakeholders. Review and report on project revenue, cost trends, and performance indicators. Develop training and provide guidance to operations staff on project controls processes and tools. Systems & Tools Utilize Deltek Vantagepoint and other project management tools for cost tracking, reporting, and forecasting.
