Coordinates preparation and review of billing information for completeness and adequacy, coordinating the collection of substantiation for Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts. Completes monthly reconciliation and forecast for all GMP contracts, communicating opportunities and risks to the project team. Keeps up-to-date reconciliation of contract amount, system contract amount, and billed/substantiated amount by project for all GMP Contracts. Coordinates preparation and review of response to all project audits. Takes initiative to establish accounting contact with client project teams. Teams with Project Manager to execute both accurate and timely monthly billings in accounting system. Assists in collecting outstanding Accounts Receivable (A/R), including providing additional documentation, as required. Executes lien releases in conformance with client and contract guidelines to mitigate potential risks. Reviews project timecard process and ensures labor cost code accuracy weekly. Provides project cost reporting to the project team weekly, highlighting and communicating budget overruns. Assist in reviewing, and/or facilitating subcontractor billing. Partners with Project Manager to maintain project cost budgets and change orders, posting budget and contract revisions in the accounting system and opening/closing cost codes as needed.
