At VAROPreem's refinery in Lysekil, you'll play a key role in ensuring that production, inventories, logistics flows, and product quality are aligned to keep one of Sweden's most important industrial facilities running safely and efficiently. Working closely with Operations, Trading, Laboratory, Shipping, and fellow planners, you'll help optimise production flows across the refinery and contribute to reliable day-to-day operations. About the role As a Production Planner, you will work at the heart of refinery operations. Your role is to balance production requirements, inventory levels, logistics flows, and product quality to ensure optimal refinery performance. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across Operations, Trading, Laboratory, and Shipping, analysing data, evaluating alternatives, and developing plans that support both operational reliability and efficient resource utilisation. This is a role for someone who enjoys understanding how different parts of a business connect. One day you may be adjusting production plans based on changing operational conditions, while the next you are analysing inventory positions, optimising product blends, or coordinating logistics activities. This position is a long-term fixed-term employment opportunity covering a parental leave absence. We are a new leading force in energy. Key responsibilities Plan and optimise production, inventory levels, product blends, and logistics flows. Ensure the right products are available at the right place and at the right time. Analyse operational data and convert insights into actionable production plans. Coordinate activities with Operations, Laboratory, Trading, Shipping, and other stakeholders. Follow up on sampling and quality assurance activities. Maintain production plans, reports, and operational documentation. Contribute to continuous improvements of processes, working methods, and operational efficiency.
